Hi All Of You Wonderful People, My name is Lynette. I am the mother of eight (8) children; Six (6) Daughters and two (2) Sons. My youngest daughter, Letty, was born with Lupus. Lupus is a debilitating auto-immune disease that tries to destroy each and every system in your body day after day, after day, and you never know which system it is going to attack. My Letty has three (3) children, one of whom has Down Syndrome. Letty is the best mother and has sacrificed most of the personal comforts and most daily necessities, just to make sure her children have everything they need. And now I will share "The Rest Of The Story."
Lettys' husband was a Sous Chef for 25 years and he worked in a family sushi restaurant for the whole 25 years he worked. His back was severely injured and he had to have surgery. The surgery didn't work and he became permanently disabled. Fast Forward to "TODAY."
"My Letty With Lupus" works as a cashier for a chain-style food store in Washington state. She is the breadwinner of her family. Letty does not miss work nor does she ever complain about her life or her circumstances. "Letty With Lupus" owns a home, has a nice car, is able to maintain insurance on her family, and has been self-sufficient, even with all the struggles she has encountered.
Every once in a while life throws each of us a curveball and we need the help of those around us or maybe even people we do not know, yet. Today is one of those days for my daughter, "Letty With Lupus." Because of some extraneous circumstances "Letty With Lupus" has had to pay thousands of $$$ to her insurance company for a surgery no one saw coming. At the same time, Washington State raised its water bill by 400%, which has caused a shortfall of nearly $5,000. "Letty With Lupus" has a few family members who may be able to help with around half of that "ENORMOUS" amount, but that will still leave a shortfall of around $2,500-$3,000. Of course, being the mother of "Letty With Lupus" I am asking for your HELP. I am asking for your help so that "Letty With Lupus" doesn't get her water shut off or lose her home.
