Hello All,
Pictured below is my family’s beloved little boy, Madigan Blue. Madigan is full bred, cute and spunky 2-year old Chihuahua whom has become the apple of my mom’s eye. As of Friday, August 15th, Madigan has been in Critical Care at the PetE.R. In Cockeysville.
My mom had noted his behavioral changes and symptoms on Thursday evening and sprang into action by taking home to the vet on Friday. Immediately after Madigan’s lab results came back, he was direct referral based on his liver lab values. Madigan is currently fighting for his life in the ER. Since Friday, the ER team has ruled out the infectious disease Leptospirosis and poisoning from being the possible main diagnoses from such a rapid decline in Madigan’s Health.
Madigan is no where near healthily enough to coming home. He is no longer a PetE.R. Patient and has been transferred into Critical Care Internal Medicine patient as of Sunday night. The bills are continuing to sky rocket as we hope and pray for our boy. Blood work, PICC line, foley insertion and multiple imaging scans are just a few items to the vast vet bill that continues to climb.
We kindly ask our friends, family and hopeful others to please help donate to Madigan’s cause so he can come home. We are nowhere close to being out of the woods yet, as my family hopes for light at the end of the tunnel. If you’ve seen my Mom’s social networks, Madigan is her daily post and update to the world.
