This August, we're hosting the 6th Annual Aunt Liza Spelling Bee in Albion Mountain, St. Mary, Jamaica—a community event that celebrates education and helps students begin the school year with confidence.
Each year, 50+ students participate and every child who enters the spelling bee receives a backpack filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year and a free meal, because we believe every child deserves to leave with something that helps them succeed.
Winners in each age group are awarded scholarships, laptops, and tablets to help continue their educational journey.
Every other spelling bee is about words. This one is about how words can open doors, create opportunities, and unlock futures these children have always deserved but have too often gone without.
