Support for Karen and Family After House Fire
On Saturday, a devastating house fire resulted in the total loss of the home and belongings of Karen and her two young sons. While we are relieved that everyone escaped safely, they have lost everything and are now facing the task of starting over from scratch.
As a single mother, Karen is working to quickly stabilize her children’s lives and find a new permanent residence. We have started this fundraiser to ease the immediate financial burden of this tragedy and help them rebuild.
Where Your Donations Will Go:
All funds raised will go directly to Karen to cover:
Housing Transition: Security deposit and first month’s rent for a new apartment.
Essential Furniture: Replacing beds, mattresses, dressers, a sofa, and a kitchen table.
Immediate Needs: Clothing, shoes, and a few toys for the boys (ages 7 and 12).
