💜Our court date was today, and I was awarded SOLE physical custody, and SOLE legal custody of my kids. 💜

I’ve received so many disgustingly nasty comments about this situation. I could not properly defend myself against them until the court date was over. Number one, the dogbite laws in North Carolina are warped. Number two, my sole priority at that moment was getting my child medical attention. 

I really want to put this out there for all the moms and dads that may ever face this sort of situation: get phone records as soon as possible. Whereas they may not show exactly what was said, it will show the date and time that texts and calls were made. Also, you could never take too many photos of your children. 

So many people were saying that there was no possible way my children could be removed from my care, unless something deeper was going on, and that I just didn’t want people to know about it. I cannot tell you how I have held in my rage against these ignorant comments for the past six months. 

There were false texts, sent back-and-forth between two phones, claiming to be me. Those false texts said that my child was harmed in my presence, days before Christmas Eve. The text said that I was aware, and that I had begged my ex to not involve the police. Those were shown to an attorney, and he claims that I posed both a physical and mental threat to my children, and he filed an emergency custody order to have sole custody. They were removed from my care due to those lies. Up until that point, we had joint custody. I had no idea what was going on, until I started digging deeper, and found out all of these disgusting lies. 

I took a photo of my kids in their new outfits on Christmas Eve, right before I had drop them off at their father’s house. Those photos clearly showed there were no injuries. This is where the phone records come in: it showed that those texts were not sent from my phone. 

I also have the proof where his girlfriend had taken my children to the doctor, and told them that my kids only eat junk food and drink soft drinks. Anyone that knows me knows that is a huge lie. Their physicals prove that they were perfectly healthy, and their dental records prove that they don’t have a spec or hint of a cavity insight. 

There were also calls about me to animal control, saying that my pets were in bad shape, and how they were not taken care of. Animal control came to my home, and didn’t see a single problem.

We were in the process of buying a home, and because of this, we lost it. I also cannot fully explain the emotional toll it has taken on these kids. 

I always tell my kids that truth will come out. And it does. And it did today. This past six months has drained me physically, drained me mentally, and drained me financially. But we won. And I cannot thank everyone enough that has helped out. 💜

I know it has been a while since I’ve posted an update, but things are just extra slow right now. Please understand that with any open court case, I’m very limited as to what I can say. It’s killing me to not be able to give the details, but I will be able to as soon as this is over. Michael is healing, slowly, and his little face still aches from time to time. I can say this though: the lies that were told against me we brought to the light, and my Littles have been fully with me since January 31. 

I’m back with an update: things have been moving slowly, but moving in a positive direction. I have one more hurdle coming up, and hopefully this will be at an end. Michael is still having nightmares every now and then, and his face aches, but at least things are looking up now. One of my followers suggested I increase my goal, one more time, to make sure I’m not hit with any unexpected expenses and not be able to cover them, so that is what I did. Just know that me, and my Littles, would not have made it this far in our journey if it had not been for everyone sending their good thoughts, prayers, and donations. Just know that as soon as this is all finalized, I will let everyone know. It’s a process, and I’m sorry for it being so slow right now. 

I’m back with another update: my little boy is healing. His face hurts hurts him quite a bit. Those of you who know of my professional medical/healthcare management background know I have the knowledge and experience to help him, and I’m doing everything I can for him. I tell him every day that I have thousands and thousands of friends/followers online that are wanting him to get better, and it makes him smile.
