Silver had 3 beautiful kittens. She developed a uterus infection. At the emergency hospital for two days then to the vet for emergency surgery. $5000 as the costs mount. Then another cat needs surgery to remove crystal blockages almost damaging his kidneys. Kittens failing to thrive, unfortunately didn’t survive and we still have a high bill. We don’t post all of these situations but they add up and the rescue struggles. If we can’t pay our medical bills, we cannot continue to help community cats and colonies still needing to be neutered.
