Please help a mother of two from Honduras cover legal fees to try and overturn a pending order of deportation. She is here with her two sons, one of whom has ongoing medical issues and is receiving a lot of care. Both sons are enrolled in school. They love living in the United States.
She fled Honduras after experiencing persistent and intergenerational domestic violence. She recently lost her asylum case in immigration court and is at risk of being deported back to Honduras.
She has an opportunity to pay a trusted lawyer to file an appeal, but needs to cover the initial $1,000 fee as well as pay additional legal expenses.
She is an amazing, resilient woman and we want to do everything we can to give her a chance to remain here so that she and her sons can live a safer, better life.
