Hi, my name is Kaitie. I’m a single mom to a wonderful teenage son who is currently balancing both high school and college classes. I’m the sole provider for our little family, which also includes our three sweet dogs. Normally, I manage to keep everything moving forward, but right now we’re facing a season that’s heavier than usual.

Just here in August, I had surgery on my right arm after a work-related accident. Now, I need another surgery for a different health issue I’ve been dealing with. The timing of it all has been overwhelming, and while I’ll receive some income during recovery, it will only be 60% of my usual pay. That leaves a gap I can’t cover alone. I am out now, and estimated recovery has me out the rest of the year, through December.

I’ve calculated that about $3,850 would help us stay afloat—covering rent, groceries, and bills—so I can focus on healing and be there for my son while he pushes forward in school. My goal is simply to bridge this short period until I can get back to handling everything on my own again.

Asking for help isn’t easy, but I know sometimes we all need a little support to get through. If you’re able to donate, any amount—big or small—will make a real difference for us. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page or keeping us in your thoughts would mean the world.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and encouragement. 💙

With gratitude,

Kaitie, kiddo and the Pack

Fundraiser Updates (1)

So I have the confirmed date to start the update, but I want to say thank you to those who have donated so far.

I will be having a hysterectomy on October 23rd. I'm hoping to be able to keep my Ovaries to prevent immediate menopause, I have a severe sensitivity to hormones,  so if I had to try to be put on hormone replacement treatment, that would be awful and I don't think I'd be able to manage it well.

The doctor's are saying I will be out at least until December 4th, 2025, but that they may need to extend it further depending on the outcome of my surgery and what all is in fact the end result of what's being needed to come out.

I'm working on the best outcomes from the arm surgery and this one as well.

I won't be able to make ends meet at 60% pay... and I can't work before cleared with the compounding health issues going on.

I'm just asking for a little help, and it's a lot to ask.  I feel like a failure to my son for the stressful times and money struggles that go on... but I'm beyond appreciative of any and all help we get at this time.

I will try to crochet or do small art, if and as my body allows for commission pieces,  but that's about all I  can try to do at this time. Mostly one handed life right now... difficult but I'm trying!

Thank you for reading.
