In late 2025, our dear friend Brian, who has been a pillar of Lincoln, NH, was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, there was a glimmer of hope. But recent scans revealed the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and lungs, devastatingly advancing to stage 4. Now, Brian finds himself in a new battle, facing weekly treatments and regular doctor visits. At 68, after a life dedicated to our community, Brian had to leave his beloved position of 21 years at Deer Park, where he was cherished by both staff and residents for his kindness and commitment.
Brian’s legacy in Lincoln goes beyond just his work. He also spent over 20 years at Loom Mountain as a security officer and served as a police officer for 10 years. Known for his integrity and generosity, Brian has always been there to lend a hand, whether managing a friendly smile at the front desk or offering support to neighbors in need. It's heartbreaking that he is now the one needing help. His friends, coworkers, and community members have always appreciated his warmth and dedication, showering him with gifts and gratitude, especially during the holidays.
