Hi, my name is ariel , and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments of my life. I currently live in my grandmother’s house, which I’ve been renting, but she’s preparing to sell it—and I have to be out by early to mid-August.
Since finding out about the sale about a month ago, I’ve been searching non-stop for a new place. Unfortunately, every affordable option I’ve found either doesn’t allow animals or won’t accept all of mine.
Now, I’m exploring the only option that would allow me to keep my family together: building a low-cost tiny home on land where I already have access to power. It won’t be fancy—just a safe, warm place where we can all stay together.
Meet My Animal Family:
- 🐶 Sawyer – my sweet Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix, gifted to me as a puppy
- 🐱 Mia – my gentle cat who I’ve loved since the day she was born
- 🐱 Shere Khan – my resilient rescue cat, who I found abandoned four years ago
- 🐟 Plus, a peaceful 55-gallon community fish tank I’ve cared for with love
These animals are my family. I work as much as I possibly can while making sure they’re cared for, but between the short notice, the uncertainty around my move-out date, and the cost of housing, I just haven’t had enough time to save.
I’m asking for help to:
- Fund the basic build of a small, livable tiny home
- Cover construction materials and setup (insulation, plumbing, etc.)
- Keep my animals and I together, safe and secure
The thought of having to give any of them up is devastating. If you’re able to donate, share this page, or send some good energy our way, it would mean everything.
Thank you so much for reading our story, and for helping us stay together.
With love and hope,
Ariel
