After experiencing 5 months of homelessness 2 years ago, my family and I have been fighting for stability and working on getting back on our feet and healing from the devastating experience.
Unfortunately, the last 18 months, my health has severely declined and has left doctors unsure as to what is happening, outside of it being autoimmune. My condition leaves me bedridden for days during flare-ups and has severely impacted my day-to-day.
My oldest has also recently been diagnosed with epilepsy after experiencing a grand mal seizure last year and we are working through the arduous journey with delayed medical care. These debilitating issues have made it impossible for me to continue working, resulting in a total loss of income.
On top of these issues, our one family vehicle has decided to join the chaos by needing mechanic work for us to use it, leaving transportation to be near impossible. We are hoping to just be able to get back on our feet and have the ability to seek medical care from specialists and transportation.
Any donation, big or small, is a light at the end of a tunnel and greatly appreciated. My children are the most loving and kind humans and I want so much for their spirits to not be dimmed by the experiences we have faced these recent years.
