I have to say that when a platform like this asks for “the story” it’s a great feeling when the first thing you want people to know is that nothing is more true when I say “to know Joe Jarrard is to love him!!!”
I am also here to tell our Community it's our time to show up like I know we can and do! If you don’t know Joe Jarrard yet; please hear me when I say true blessings flow from the entire Jarrard family!! I can assure you that you will be blessed by them when you help out with this financial goal.
As most know Joe was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago. You can imagine this is always hard to process Emotional, physically but also financially.
You will rarely catch Joe not smiling and offering his hand to help others. Joe has the most contagious personality, always keeps us laughing; all while showing his love through leading others through humility, loyalty and kindness.
So, I am asking first that you please join us in prayer that God heals Joe. Protects and provides peace and clarity to him and his family.
I am also asking for friends who know, need to know, and will know Joe to please consider giving your support financially to one incredible man. They are in hopes that he will be able to be at MD Anderson which means- when the call comes, he goes.
Flights and Hotels will have to be booked, cars will have to be filled, food will have to be eaten and bills will have to be paid.
You can imagine how much of a blessing even $10 dollars could be during this time for the Jarrard Family.
We all know it is much more rewarding to give than receive. Even if it's not through this platform I am in the process of creating a #TeamJoe Venmo account and the ability to use Zelle so that the family can have multiple options for others to give.
Joe is loved by so many and there is no doubt in my mind that he will be even more of an inspiration to so many by having to go through this.
