We are a group of college students with a dream.
Not a noble dream. Not an inspirational dream. Not a dream that benefits society in any measurable way whatsoever.
We want to go to Las Vegas and get lit.
We are aiming for June 2027. We have already committed to the trip, established a budget, created an unnecessarily detailed master plan, and somehow decided that asking strangers on the internet for money was the logical next step.
Your contribution will help fund the Vegas Fund™, which may be used for housing, food, transportation, entertainment, and other expenses that our financial department determines are sufficiently important.
There are no medical bills. No emergency. No nonprofit. No children involved.
Just Vegas.
Of course, most of you will think something along the lines of "get a job". The thing is, we thought it would be better to ask the internet.
And if you're going to contribute to this objectively questionable financial decision, you deserve to see where your money goes. We will be documenting the entire journey on social media, from the planning and fundraising all the way through the actual trip. We haven't created the account yet, but once it exists, donors will get a front-row seat to the consequences of their investment.
But that's not all. Contributors will also have a say in the soundtrack of the trip. We have created a collaborative Spotify playlist for Vegas, and anyone who contributes can add songs they want us to hear while we're there. Your donation could quite literally determine the jamz being played in the Nevada desert.
