On August 8, 2023, Our family, like countless others, has been deeply affected by the devastating wildfires. The flames claimed not only my apartment and car, but also the home of my daughter and grandchildren. To add to our challenges, my other daughter's family residence now stands in ruins, leaving them with nowhere to go.
My son DJ and his girlfriend Sam have opened their hearts and home to shelter all three families and other uncles and aunties are tirelessly ensuring that our spirits stay lifted with various activities.
Our present situation is full of uncertainty as we stand on the threshold of an unknown future. We are actively searching for a permanent place to call home, and in this pursuit, we turn to you with humility, seeking your prayers and any form of assistance that may guide us to a stable and permanent solution.
Amidst the disaster, we found beauty in our ability to cope, cherish quality time with family, deepen our appreciation for life, and share smiles and laughter.
