My mom is 87 years old. She traveled to Egypt to visit family, but while she was there her health took a devastating turn.
She has Parkinson’s disease and can no longer walk or move on her own. Her condition worsened significantly, and she is now too weak and unstable to fly back to the United States.
Last week, things became critical. She suffered a serious brain complication, fell into a coma, and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors performed emergency brain surgery. She is still in intensive care. Everything is fully documented by the hospital.
I have already paid for the surgery, the ICU stay, and all the medical bills so far. But the costs are continuing every single day, hundreds of dollars just to keep her alive and receiving care. I have reached the end of what I can afford.
I am asking for help to cover her ongoing medical expenses and, hopefully, the costs of getting her stable enough and safely transported back home to the U.S. so she can be with her family.
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading her story and for any support you can give.
