For more than a decade, Soaring Ground and DJG have been dedicated to providing affordable programs for youth and families in communities affected by the justice system. With the increase in violence within these areas, we have taken a stand to demonstrate to our young people that life is valuable. Our away camps go beyond basketball; they instill essential life skills such as discipline, respect, compassion, and self-awareness. We are committed to making a positive impact on youth and strengthening families by teaching the importance of sports, fitness, and wellness as foundational elements of a healthy lifestyle.
These funds will help support our youth team this fall season with :
• End of the season trip to Virginia 8/30-/9/2
• Basketball
• Facility rental ( for practice )
• New Team Apparel
• School supplies
• Tournament fees
