We’re Elena and Cecilia—best friends for over a decade, bonded by music, memories, and the kind of friendship that feels like family. Through every challenge life has thrown at us—grief, anxiety, late-night breakdowns, growing up too fast—music has been our lifeline. It’s how we heal, how we connect, and how we’ve stayed strong together.
There’s a music festival happening tomorrow—Aurora Fest—featuring the artists who quite literally saved us during some of our lowest points. We’ve dreamed about going for years. We even made a playlist of all the songs we’d sing in the crowd. It’s not just a concert. For us, it’s a full-circle moment of healing, joy, and celebration after years of holding each other up.
But we hit a wall financially. We’ve both been working nonstop—Elena juggling classes and night shifts, and Cecilia caring for her mom while tutoring part-time. We’ve been scraping together what we can, but we’re just short.
