My name is Lonnie, and together with my partner Antoinette, we share our lives with six incredible Australian Shepherds. These dogs are more than pets—they are our family. We were there when the puppies were born, and since then, they have filled our days with joy, affection, and laughter. Their wagging tails greet us every morning, their zoomies bring energy to our home, and every night, all six snuggle in our bed. The bond between us and our dogs is truly special, and the love they share with each other is something we cherish deeply.
Recently, we had to leave our home of ten years because of toxic mold. Finding a new place that will accept all six dogs has been nearly impossible. For the past 32 days, we have been boarding them at a cost of $385 per day, which has stretched our finances to the limit. As senior citizens living on fixed incomes, we are almost out of funds to keep our dogs safely housed and together. All funds raised will go directly toward keeping our six Australian Shepherds together and cared for until we can find a suitable home for all of us.
