I am planning to travel to the Middle East and Southeast Asia to assist people who are confronting trauma and humanitarian crises.
I hope to teach trauma-informed Mindfulness Meditation skills and Non-Violent Communication; as well as provide spiritual and pastoral counseling to those who find themselves in need of emergency care. I plan to provide medical aid to the degree that I can as a trained medic. In addition, I intend to bring a limited amount of supplies with me for emergency assistance and to help connect individuals with local and international grassroots resources and organizations.
It is my hope and prayer that I can be of service to all those suffering from violence, oppression, and other forms of struggle, displacement, and loss.
I have traveled before as a humanitarian aid worker helping people who are imprisoned unjustly. I also helped provide information and resources for education, human rights, first-aid, computer, and language literacy access in the Global South.
I have been struggling with some serious health problems but I hope to leave by the beginning of July 2024. Any help you can provide in any form to assist in facilitating this important mission would be greatly appreciated. It will be used to help others in need.
