TrailblazHER: Making Room for Women in Male-Dominated Fields
Miss Milford
As a female wrestler, official, and advocate, I proudly champion TrailblazHER: Making Room for Women in Male-Dominated Fields—a movement to inspire and empower the next generation of girls to pursue their passions fearlessly, especially in areas where women are underrepresented.
My journey began when I wanted to try wrestling and was told because I am a girl, “you can’t.” That moment sparked my mission. I became the first girl in my school’s history to win a varsity wrestling match, a 3x State Champion, New England Champion, and High School All-American. I was voted captain of an all-male team and am now one of the few certified female wrestling officials in the nation.
Why TrailblazHER Matters
This initiative is not just about wrestling—it’s about resilience, representation, and rewriting the narrative for young girls who are told “they can’t.” Through visibility, mentorship, and community involvement, TrailblazHER aims to break barriers and build bridges for generations to come.
