I am trying to raise money for my sister Dana. She has been wrongfully evicted from the Brentwood Marina for exercising her legal rights to peaceful living. She now has 8 days to move her boat to the new slip she found or they will consider her boat abandoned without further notice and it will become the Marina's property and she would become homeless.
I could go on and on about the sketchy criminal type management here at this marina but I will spare you.
My sister is by far the most giving generous person that I know. She has always been the one that people go to when they need help. She goes above and beyond and out of her way and bends over backwards for anybody who needs help, including strangers. If you just need someone to listen, she would be the one to turn to. She is a rock!! She will drop what she is doing to help somebody and that's no exaggeration, Honestly, i've seen it happen many many times. She has always put others needs ahead of hers.
She has always had a difficult time accepting help from people, and she would never ask for any help. I mean never. She would probably be upset with me if she knew I was doing this. I don't know what else to do, I don't know how else to help her.
Right now she needs money to pay somebody to tow her boat over to the new place. She needs a deposit and she also needs to get boat insurance before she can move in to the new slip. I have called around and you have to pay for a year up front for boat insurance which is about a thousand dollars.
She lives on a fixed income. So it's very hard to come up with money for extra expenses.
