Meet Abod AlKarim
Abod is a young photographer from Gaza City, a man whose old life has been reduced to rubble, like 90% of the Gaza Strip. His home destroyed. 🗝️
His family of 12—most of them children—has no food, no water, and not even a tent to sleep under. Their blankets are the night sky, and the winter is fast approaching. Staying in partially dilapidated buildings is more dangerous than sleeping under an open sky due to the continuous bombardment. 🌌
Yet, Abod refuses to give up and picks up his only weapon... his camera. He documents what the world must see—so no one can ever again say, "we didn’t know."
