PAMELA’S STORY—. This journey has been physically exhausting and financially overwhelming, and I never thought I would see Pamela be the one facing this.
After a routine knee replacement turned into a severe infection, Pamela has now had her first phase 1 knee revision surgery to remove infection, place antibiotic spacer, with more procedures ahead.
Pamela has been getting antibiotic IV infusions. She is using a walker from now until after her second phase 2 revision to remove antibiotic spacer, and ensure infection is completely gone, and replace her hardware.
