Trotting Home Equine Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization is dedicated to rescuing horses from neglect, abuse & slaughter. All donations are tax deductable. We are 100% driven by volunteers. There are no paid positions. We rely totally on the generosity of horse lovers that want to help our rescue. We Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome equines of all types but are especially fond of our retired Standardbreds and devote much of our love to aftercare for these special horses. Many of the horses we take in have been abused or neglected and in danger of going to auctions that supply horses for the slaughter houses in Mexico and Canada.
