This fundraiser is being organized to support Alex during a deeply challenging and unexpected situation.
Several years ago, animals including pigs were left on a neighboring property that was believed to be a safe and stable environment. Over time, concerns began to arise after nearby neighbors and others observed deteriorating conditions and signs that some animals were not receiving adequate care. Sadly, some animals on the property passed away.
After learning about the situation, Alex made multiple attempts to seek help from appropriate local agencies and authorities but was unable to get assistance. Acting out of compassion and concern for the wellbeing of the remaining animals, Alex stepped in to help ensure they were safe. Neighbors in the area expressed appreciation, noting that the animals frequently wandered off the property and that no one else had been addressing the situation.
As a result of these events, Alex is now facing significant and unexpected expenses related to the aftermath. This fundraiser is intended to help cover those costs and provide support as Alex works through this difficult period
