Hello.. My name is Kim and I'm the mom of 2 beautiful boys. Timmy is 15 yrs old and has multiple disabilitys. Timmy is non verbal, and in a wheelchair. When he is home he is the happiest little guy. His little but much bigger in size brother is 13 yrs old and he has a heart of gold and is amazing with his older brother. The reason I'm asking for money is because Boston Public is no place for any disabled child let alone my son. We have had child protective services called on us every yr and every time I'm told to call and make a claim on the school for neglect for not having any equipment that could possibly help my son stand / walk on his own. The school isn't giving him his therapy services and the school choke my son 3 times by feeding him foods they were told not to feed him and it resulted in 2 trips to the emergency room. The school almost killed my son and they are threatening to take my kids and arrest me for not sending him back to a school that has almost killed him. I have made complaints to any and everyone with no lick... My husband is the only one who works so I can stay home with my son but er can't makes ends meet.. On top of fighting with Boston public and cps and the school my husband was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had to have 42 nodes removed 4 of them being cancer. It's so much stress to take and I know a lot of people have it a lot worse then we do but I just want a chance for my disabled son and no one seems to care about long term for him but his family. Please give us a chance to possibly see in the right environment and better schools for both of the kids if one day our Timmy could walk on his own. I want out of MA before I end up having a heart attack that according to my Drs is coming sooner then later with all the stress Boston is putting my family and I in.. I want a house that our kids can play, where Timmy can walk in his gate trainer and chase after his brother.. I want a simple life with my family.
