As most of you know, Terry was taken in for emergency surgery to remove a tumor on his colon on 11/28. Long story short-They removed a fist size tumor and had to place a colostomy, that collapsed from the abdomen filling his abdomen with crap (literally) and he went septic. The on-call Dr refused to come in, so more hours passed. I stood my ground and made them get someone there. We are still waiting on the pathology report to dictate the next phase of this journey, but what we do know is that physically, he will be down for 4/5 months w healing and rehab. Mentally....We will get there.
The emotional and physical roller-coaster he is on is heartbreaking to see. He has no idea of what is ahead of him. Power comes from those you surround yourself with, and he has a pretty bad ass powerhouse behind him...everyone of you that have reached out, called, messaged, liked/loved/cared on a post....you are the power source that is taking us through this. It's hard. It fricken sucks. He doesn't know how to do it, I don't know how to do it, our families don't know how to do it. But we will do it.
For those of you that know him, "doing nothing" is not in his blood and asking for help is not what he does. So while he is down, I am asking for him.
He needs prayers.
He needs messages.
He needs loved through this.
So many have asked how they can help, and this is where the need is going to be. The financial hardship is so real. His livelihood is on pause for a bit, but the world keeps spinning. Helping him relieve the financial burden of his world is one less thing he will need to worry about. I know its the holiday season and you all have somewhere that money could be spent, but the difference it would make in this situation is unexplainable.
He is still very sick. He is still septic. He has a fever. He is still fighting like heck.
I want you all to take a moment and look at the comments. Look at all of the prayers and cares that you can see. Terry has some BAD ASS friends. Each one of YOU is why he is where he is at this moment, and we are all going to have a huge gathering and appreciate one another on "This side of the dirt."
Matthew 18:19-20 : "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."
