Life has a way of changing your plans in an instant.
A few years ago, my husband and I lost our full-time RV when it was destroyed during the devastating hurricanes in Florida. Overnight, the home we had built our life around was gone.
Rather than give up on the lifestyle we love, we adapted. Since then, we've been living full-time out of our Bronco with a rooftop tent, embracing the Overlanding lifestyle and doing our best to make it work. We've learned to live with less, appreciate the simple things, and keep moving forward despite the challenges.
But the reality is that living in a rooftop tent full-time has become increasingly difficult. The relentless Florida heat, strong winds, heavy rain, and storms leave us with no safe or comfortable place to escape the elements. Every day is a challenge, and there are times when getting a good night's sleep or simply staying dry feels impossible.
We're asking for your help to purchase a teardrop camper. This isn't about luxury—it's about having a small, reliable shelter that will provide protection from the weather, a dry place to sleep, and a little peace of mind. A teardrop camper would allow us to continue living the life we've worked so hard to rebuild while giving us a safe place to retreat when the weather turns harsh.
If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to us. If donating isn't possible, sharing our story with your friends and family is just as appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for your kindness, and for helping us take one more step toward having a safe place to call home again.
With gratitude,
Jared & Juliana
