I’ve always felt a deep bond with animals. My dream to become a veterinarian began in childhood, guided by afternoons volunteering at local shelters and cherished moments at a rural veterinary office. From an inspiring summer at an elephant sanctuary to my weekends spent at a horse rescue, I've dedicated myself to caring for animals in every way I can. Balancing these experiences with a 4.0 GPA and my job as a ranch hand has been challenging, yet each experience is a step closer to my dream.
This fall, an incredible opportunity awaits me. I've been accepted into a program with CIEE and Tulane University in Costa Rica, where I will begin my college education. The chance to study the diverse wildlife in a new culture is a dream come true. However, with many years of education ahead, meeting the $8,000 cost is daunting. Your support means more than words can express—it brings me a step closer to making a lifelong dream a reality.
