My name is Jasmine T, and I’m working hard to open Little Warriors Learning — a warm, safe, and affordable in-home daycare here in Hazelwood. This will be a place where children are cared for, encouraged, and prepared for their future, while giving working parents peace of mind.
This dream has been years in the making, but the past year has been especially challenging. In 2024, my home caught fire. While I was able to stay, the damages were costly. My renter’s insurance dropped me, leaving me to pay for repairs and my rent at the same time. Not long after, I lost my job, and in April of this year, I was in a car accident that slowed my progress even more.
Despite it all, my passion for creating a safe, loving place for children has only grown stronger. I’m now just steps away from opening, but I’m in urgent need of a financial breakthrough to cover the last of my start-up costs. This includes safe sleeping mats, learning toys, arts and crafts materials, safety gates, furniture, and other essential supplies. This daycare will be my main source of income and will allow me to rebuild my life while serving local families.
