My 2 month old daughter’s life came to an end August 15, 2026. She was such a fighter, so strong and resilient. She has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome, an abnormally small brain, kidney failure, and a cleft palate. She has undergone a mandibular jaw distraction surgery to bring her chin forward to open her airway as well as a PDA stent placement in her heart. She has required intubation since birth and continued to face unimaginable medical challenges every single day. As things progressed, her prognosis was very poor, and every day I was reminded how precious every second we have together is. I just never expected it to end so soon.
I was by her side everyday and I know she felt a lifetime worth of love in her short time here.
