Fundraising for Finn’s Medical Fund
Finn is a 4-year-old Staffy mix who came into our rescue just in time—right before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Since then, he’s fought hard for his life and has already overcome heartworm disease. Unfortunately, after completing heartworm treatment, Finn developed a rare autoimmune condition.
Because of this, Finn now requires daily prednisone for the rest of his life. Prednisone is a necessary medication, but it’s also an immune suppressant, which means Finn must have regular veterinary monitoring to ensure his body is handling it safely. He has an upcoming six-month recheck, and his vet may need to run bloodwork to monitor organ function and overall health.
At this time, Finn does not have a definitive diagnosis due to how uncommon and poorly understood some autoimmune diseases are in dogs. What we do know is that ongoing care, medication, and monitoring are essential to keeping him stable and comfortable.
We’re asking for help to cover the cost of Finn’s upcoming checkup, potential bloodwork, and continued medical care. Any donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure Finn continues to get the care he deserves after everything he’s already survived.
Thank you for supporting Finn and giving him the chance at a healthy, happy life. 🐾
