I’m reaching out today because I’ve reached a point where I can no longer carry the financial burden of my health battles alone. For those who don't know, I have been fighting a series of debilitating medical conditions that have made it impossible for me to work.
What I’m facing:
Right now, my body is fighting on multiple fronts. I am managing Polycythemia vera (a rare blood cancer) alongside anemia, which leaves my energy completely depleted. On top of that, I deal with neuropathy and severe spinal issues and arthritis that make daily movement a challenge. I am also currently in the middle of a long rotator cuff repair recovery, which has further limited my mobility and has recently started feeling like a possible failed surgery.
Where I am now:
I have applied for disability, and after a long wait, (4 years) my hearing is finally scheduled for next month. This is the light at the end of the tunnel I’ve been praying for.
Why I need your help:
While the hearing is close, my bills—rent, utilities, and mounting medical costs—haven’t paused. I am struggling to keep everything afloat for this final month until my case is heard and (hopefully) resolved.
