On October 6th, my son was hit by a truck and nearly lost his life.
By the grace of the Divine, he survived but his injuries were catastrophic. He is currently recovering after losing half of his skull, and his road to healing is long and uncertain. Bryson has health insurance. But i am not sure how much responsibility will fall on my family. The charges for treatment so far have been over $1 million. This is going to be a potentially lifelong process. And there will inevitably be types of care Bryson will need that aren't covered by insurance.
I am a mother of three, doing everything in my power to stay strong for my children while caring for my son through this unimaginable recovery. The emotional toll is heavy, and the financial part scary.
