Hi! My name is Emily and I am currently serving as Miss Heart of New York 2023 in the Miss New York Organization. As a local titleholder in the Miss America's Opportunity, I serve as an advocate and role model for women in STEM hoping to both recruit more girls into the STEM fields, and to retain women in these fields once they begin working as professionals.
It is also an important role as a titleholder to raise scholarship funds not only for my current class, but for future generations of Miss America titleholders both in New York and across America. I am raising money for Miss America Scholarships as a part of the Miss America program, empowering women through education, and the Four Points of the crown; Style, Service, Scholarship and Success.
The Miss America's Opportunity's mission is to empower women through education. Women hold 2/3 of the student loan debt in America. The Miss America's Opportunity provides scholarship assistance - from the local communities, all the way to our national competition.
