Thousands of homes across Ukraine have been destroyed, and thousands more are damaged. For some villages, the front line is still near, making it dangerous for people to return to their homes. But in southern Ukraine, villages that once were under Russian occupation have been liberated. Many people want to return home to their villages, but they cannot, because their homes have been damaged. Others return home and live among the ruins.
Summer is here with its warm weather. The houses with their damaged roofs can be repaired, but many of these houses will be completely ruined if they are exposed to the rain and snow of another winter.
Many homes need new roofs and windows. Our goal is to set up a base in a central village in southern Ukraine, where groups of volunteers can come to help work in the surrounding villages, putting new roofs on these damaged houses.
With the help of volunteers and hired local help, we hope to repair an average of two houses per week. Our goal is to stabilize at least thirty houses before winter sets in. Then in the winter, we hope to help with the necessary repairs inside these homes.
If there is enough interest, perhaps more bases can be established and more homes can be rebuilt. Our vision includesgetting a base established so that another church group from the States could then take it over if they are interested. Then we could start another base and pave the way for others to come in and help.
The greatest need is spiritual help. Perhaps nowhere across the world can you find people who are seeking God like the peopleare in Ukraine. Hundreds, and even thousands, have repented and found God in these dark months of war. But they are like a sheep without a shepherd. Along with helping to repair their houses, we want to be there to give them spiritual help and direction.
The needs are endless. We cannot rebuild Ukraine, but perhaps for a few villages, we can make a difference.
Financially
The setup cost will be around $25,000. This includes temporary housing, tools, and a vehicle. To repair one roof, it will cost an average of $3,000 - $5,000. Your donations make a difference!

Church planting
Perhaps your church is interested in starting an outreach. There are many villages without an evangelical witness. People have turned to God and are seeking direction. Our goal is to hold church services in the villages where we help with rebuilding. Perhaps your church would consider becoming involved and seeing how God opens the doors for an outreach.
