Last month, a split second during a dirt bike practice changed everything for me. One moment I was racing through the trails, and the next, I was sidelined with an injury that turned my world upside down. Living here in Hanover, the community has always been a big part of my life, and now I find myself reaching out to that very same community for support. This injury means I can’t work right now, and I’m struggling to cover the basics like bills and groceries.
It's tough to face each day knowing I can’t provide for myself like I used to. The weight of worry is constant, and it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed at times. I miss the independence and the freedom of riding, but more than that, I miss the peace of mind that comes with knowing things are taken care of. Every little bit of help right now feels like a lifeline, and it reminds me of the strong connections we share here.
