My sweet 5-month-old French Bulldog, Olive, was recently diagnosed with a congenital spinal abnormality. From the moment I brought her home, she’s been full of love, curiosity, and playful energy—but lately, she’s been in pain, struggling to walk comfortably, and unable to enjoy the things she loves most.
After visiting the vet, we learned that Olive was born with spinal malformations that are now affecting her nerves and causing her discomfort. She’s currently on medications to manage the pain, but we’ve been referred to a veterinary neurologist for advanced testing—likely including an MRI—and possibly long-term treatment or even surgery. These expenses are overwhelming, but I want to give Olive every chance at a happy, pain-free life.
