As many close friends and family already know, last week, my sister, Kathy, was admitted to the hospital due to chest pains. After scans and X-rays, the doctor discovered Kathy had an unexplained spontaneous puncture in her respiratory system which caused air to leak into her body. The accumulation of air in her body caused her chest pains and eventually required her to be on a pump because her respiratory organs could not function on their own. 

The doctors tried every solution to avoid surgery. After many days and nights of discomfort, on April 6th, they decided to go ahead with the procedure. 
  
Kathy is a fun and loving person. Her love for family, cooking, and clients is what keeps her going! If you have been around her, you were always eating good!   
  
When I say, “she loves her clients and always put her clients first,” man, you ladies keep her laughing and going every day. I feel like I know all of you just by listening to Kathy talk about y’all. Like us, you are her family. :)  
  
Kathy is not the oldest in our family, but she’s always the big sister in every situation. We know we can trust her, and we know she can give us the unfiltered advice that we need, not that sugar-coating stuff.   
Kathy has medical coverage; however, her road to recovery ❤️‍🩹 will be a while.   

 As many of you have asked how to help, I’ve created this fundraiser to help Kathy with her bills and co-pays for ongoing doctor’s appointments and respiratory therapy.   
  
As we know, Kathy is a Nail Tech, and when she is out of work, there’s no getting paid. Her husband has been out of work as well, being by her side every day... I don’t want to be lengthy on this! Thank you all so much in advance.
