Please help me in raising money to source life-saving medical equipment such as heavy duty IFAKs (Individual First Aid Kits), quality tourniquets, trauma kits, and personal protective gear for wounded civilians, volunteers and emergency responders in Ukraine.
In the first weeks of fighting, the world has rallied to provide support. However, as the war drags on, my friends in Ukraine report increased difficulty in sourcing life-saving equipment, including med kits and PPE. Most of these goods have sold out or been stockpiled by Ukraine’s neighbor countries, forcing aid workers to search farther afield for quality supplies.
These are easily sourced in America and shipped to volunteer groups, including a dear friend of mine (and human rights lawyer) on the Polish/Ukrainian border who can help get them to where they are sorely needed.
$100 donates 1 personal medical kit
$200 donates 1 IFAK Kit that can save up to four lives
$500 donates 2 large supply kits or 2 helmets
$1000 can outfit someone in life-saving ballistic armor
If you’re like me, you are frustrated by the slow pace of decision making at a national level and are eager to make a personal impact. There are many aid organizations out there who are also working to source medical kits, but with large overhead and uncertainty that they will get to the right hands. I can personally guarantee delivery to Krakow and on to Kyiv.
