Hello Everyone,

I am Minister Timothy V Limbrick Sr. In December 2021, I was invited to Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary in Paynesville, Monrovia-Liberia to be their Baccalaureate Speaker.

My Baccalaureate Ceremony address, centered around their theme: Building relationships between the seminary and the church for sustainable theological education in Liberia.”

While in Liberia, I had an opportunity to partner with Providence Baptist Church, the 1st Christian church on the continent of Africa. I was invited to preach and teach the word of God and also participated in their bicentennial celebration. And also to participate in a National Pastoral Conference to encourage pastors in ministry and participation in future agrcultural opportunities of which I am making my plea. The response was overwhelming and so also, is the need. The bible teaches us, missionaries are given the responsibility to preach the gospel to all people, to baptize them, and to teach them to do all things that the Lord has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

Additionally, I had an opportunity to share stories of success and motivate the students and communities to live full productive lives. I, also, emphasized the importance to giving back to the community and community work. Because of my partnership with Providence Baptist Church, I was able to speak with community members regarding sustainable subsistence agriculture. I am sure you’ve heard the statement, “give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime.”

For over 25 years, ministry has been my life. I started my work in ministry as a missionary in 1995 and I continued until I began a ministry of teaching Christian Discipleship in 2005. I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over the continental U.S. and different places abroad.

Moving forward, my work in Liberia will be two-fold: feeding the souls of God’s people with the word of God and feeding their stomach with nutritious foods. Through the Subsistence Agriculture Program, I will teach families how to plant, grow and harvest their own food. This work is so important, it will lessen the strain of systemic "food anxiety" and allow them to feed themselves, share the excess they grow, and sell what’s left at the market, effectively provide for their families. This is a much-needed work in Liberia.

Through your donations, this work will be done and be led by me and in partnership with Providence Baptist Church and the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary. Your donations will help with travel expenses and with purchasing seeds and material to start this Subsistence Agriculture Program. My goal is to initially impact the lives of 20 families and build from there.

Thanks for your willingness to engage in this meaningful, global outreach.
