Why I started my business and why I want to give back?

didn’t start this store because I wanted to get rich. I started it because I understand what it feels like to struggle.
I know what it’s like to feel like your voice doesn’t matter. To feel overlooked. To feel like you’re carrying things on your own when nobody really sees what you’re going through. Life can get heavy in ways people don’t always notice, and I’ve been close enough to that kind of pain to understand how isolating it can feel.
I’ve seen struggle up close through family, through friends, and through moments in my own life that changed how I see people and the world around me. Those experiences shaped me more than anything else. They taught me that everyone is fighting battles you can’t always see, and that even small amounts of support or kindness can make a real difference in someone’s life.
One thing I’ve learned through all of it is that nobody is less valuable than anyone else. Every person has worth. Every person has a story. And every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported especially during their hardest moments.
That’s why this store exists.
It’s not just about products. It’s not just about business. It’s about purpose.
I want this to be something that actually gives back. A portion of every order goes toward helping people who are going through real struggles including cancer patients, children fighting for their lives, and individuals and families facing homelessness or hardship. One of the main focuses for me is supporting organizations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, because no child should have to fight that kind of battle alone.
This is personal for me.
I didn’t build this just to sell something. I built it because I’ve seen what pain looks like, I’ve felt what it does to people, and I’ve also seen how powerful it can be when someone finally feels supported again. If what I’m building can help even one person feel less alone, or give one child a little more hope, then it’s already worth it.
That’s the whole point.
I want this to grow into something bigger than me something that stands for people who are going through it, something that reminds them they’re not invisible, and something that turns struggle into impact.
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just a store.
It’s a way to give back what life has taught me.
When I was younger, I was part of something called Brothers Helping Others. We helped people in the homeless community not because we had to, but because we wanted to. I was involved in giving out support, showing up for people who had nowhere else to turn, and doing what we could with what we had. That experience stuck with me. I was even featured on the news multiple times for the work we were doing, but honestly, it was never about recognition. It was about people.
That’s where my mindset really started to form.
That’s the reason I give back now.
I don’t do things just for myself, and I don’t build things just to keep everything I make. I know you probably hear that a lot from people, but for me, this isn’t a slogan or a marketing line it’s personal. It comes from experience.
If I put myself in someone else’s shoes… really think about it… what if I had everything in the world, but I could see my younger self struggling and I just watched it happen without doing anything? What if it was my sibling? What if it was someone I love deeply going through that pain while I stood there knowing I could’ve helped?
That’s what drives me.
I don’t see people as “better” or “worse” than anyone else. Everyone is equal. Everyone is unique. Everyone is carrying something you can’t always see on the surface. That’s why I build what I build not because it’s just for me, but because I want it to mean something beyond me.
If I’m going to put time, energy, and my life into something, I want it to matter to other people. I want it to reach people who feel forgotten, overlooked, or stuck in a place they don’t think they can get out of.
I’ve volunteered. I’ve helped where I could. I’ve shown up when I didn’t have to. And everything I’m building now is just an extension of that same mindset.
At the end of the day, I’m not trying to be someone who just builds for profit.
I’m trying to be someone who builds for people.
