Hi Everyone,
I never thought I'd be in a position where I'd have to ask for help like this, but this moment means everything to me.
My son is currently in Navy boot camp, pushing himself every single day to become a Sailor. On 4/23/26, he will graduate at PIR (Pass-In-Review) a milestone that represents his hard work, sacrifice, and dedication. It's one of the most important days of his life... and as his mother, it's one of the most important days of mine too.
The truth is, I’m struggling financially right now and I don’t have the means to cover the travel and lodging expenses to be there for him. Missing this moment would break my heart. After everything he’s worked for, I want nothing more than to be in that audience, cheering him on as he takes this life-changing step.
I’m asking for any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser. Every little bit helps bring me closer to being there when he looks out into the crowd, knowing his family showed up for him.
If you’ve ever had someone you love to accomplish something big, then you know how important it is to be present. I just want to be there for my son.
