As of right now, I am a single mom of three children and I’m struggling to make ends meet. We are on low income budget so I had to move us to a new city due to no help or support and everything else in my life changed drastically. I ended up getting a hotel for a little while, but our time here is about to come to a end in a few more days. I’ve been looking for jobs so that I’m able to get out of this situation into something better unfortunately things are not working out. I have a autistic son that needs his own room and bed and it is hard living in a hotel when there are others that might get disturbed whenever he is just being himself. However, I am doing the best that I can and I just need to be in a better living situation. I left a situation where I could not pay the bills on my own or feed my kids. Although my children do receive benefits, I still have to buy food and pay for my car note, including insurance. Starting over is not easy, but this will help us get off to a new start.
