Chef Dre Williams is a culinary visionary, entrepreneur, and cultural storyteller redefining what it means to lead with purpose in the kitchen. As the co-owner and CEO of Culinary Collections, Dre has built his brand on elevated flavors, intentional hospitality, and experiences rooted in heart and heritage.
Recently stepping into his role as the new Chef at the British International School of Chicago, South Loop, Dre has fully embraced the opportunity to shape young palates and perspectives. He is passionate about bringing awareness to the farm-to-table movement, teaching students and families the value of sustainability, seasonality, and understanding where their food comes from. For Dre, food is more than a meal — it’s mentorship, education, and legacy.
Dre is also the creator and host of the upcoming cooking show Soulfully Plated with Chef Dre, a series that celebrates culture, connection, and cuisine through intentional storytelling and elevated comfort food. The show reflects his culinary philosophy: soulful, refined, and rooted in tradition while pushing creative boundaries.
In tandem with the series, Dre is developing his debut cookbook, Seasoned in Soul: A Life Told Through Flavor. The book is a deeply personal culinary memoir — blending recipes, life lessons, and moments that shaped him as a chef, entrepreneur, and man. It is more than a cookbook; it is a narrative of resilience, love, culture, and growth told through food.
To bring both projects fully to life, Dre is currently seeking sponsorship support totaling $25,000 to fund production and publishing. With $16,500 already raised, he is closing in on his goal and believes that with the support of his growing Quest Family and aligned brand partners, this vision will soon become reality.
Adding to an already monumental year, Dre will compete in Season XI of Culinary Fight Club at the highly anticipated CFC: The Bougie Burger Battle.
