Hello friends and small business owners.. on Friday October 20th there is a Halloween Dance for the Special Olympics athletes associated with ALLIED Rehabilitation of Enfield. The kids and participants look forward to these events more than you can imagine!! But the budget isn’t always enough to include food, most often these events are used to raise funds for Specual Olympics and other local social group outings, activities or events
The last one we went to was “bring your own snacks” and consisted of several premade packs of grocery store baked goods. some of these individuals live in group homes or with aging parents who may not have the extra time or money to prepare food or purchase anything beyond a grab and go snack. Matt and I have thrown together a few trays of pasta and meatballs to have some sort of hot dinner but I am looking to see if anyone would be interested in sponsoring or donating so we have this years event catered.
Thank you in advance for supporting ALLIED and their efforts of giving individuals with disabilities or special needs meaningful engagement and livelihood through sports and other special events.
