5year old Wyatt woke up on Saturday, July 8th expecting to finally get to see some Independence Day fireworks after weeks of rain. Looking a little pale, and tired his mom and dad made what would ultimately be an incredibly smart gut decision to do a quick trip to Urgent Care just to make sure all was good with the little man.
Shortly after arriving at New London Hospital Wyatt was transferred to Dartmouth Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit where he was diagnosed with Acute Lympocytic Leukemia. By 10pm Wyatts otherwise normal life story would be changed forever.
As Wyatt continues to fight to make his “sick blood” all better again, his mom (who is 3 months pregnant) and dad are trying to come to terms with all of logistics involved with having a child facing a multi year health battle. Unfortunately, with this battle comes a variety of costly expenses that up until a week ago, had never been thought of, let alone planned for.
It is for this reason that we are asking that anyone willing and able to help out, please consider donating so that Wyatt and his parents can focus on winning this battle, and getting our little man back to his normal self.
All donations collected will be used solely to help with Wyatts medical, and logistical expenses.
