Lisa is a dear friend of mine who will be having back surgery this month and will need several months to recover.
She has suffered back pain for years. It has affected her to the point she had to resign from her job. After careful consideration she has decided to undergo back surgery to have a better quality of life and to be able to fully enjoy raising her beautiful 3 year old girl. Her husband will continue to work, as well as take care of their child and take care of Lisa.
For the first several months after the surgery, their finances will be negatively impacted.
