Hello, this is Caterina Hutt! I am in my senior year at Portsmouth Christian Academy. Two years ago I joined my schools mission club, where we grow together in community and with Christ while serving others. We serve in our local communities through various initiatives.
I have the amazing opportunity to go on a mission's trip with this club in February 2026. We will be working with a group called Youthworks in Puerto Rico for a week, humbly serving the local community. We will be partnering with Dream Center Esperanza and will most likely be doing some agricultural work while we are there. I am currently serving in my church as a student ministry leader and at my local preschool with helping hands. Serving others is very important to me and has helped me grow significantly in my faith. I have attended this trip the past two years and it impacted me so much. I grew with my team and was served by so many people in Puerto Rico. This opportunity is a huge blessing for me. Serving in Puerto Rico is something the Lord has called me to do, and I am so excited about it.
In order to make this trip possible, we need to raise funds. There are about 20 students attending and it will cost around $2,250 per person. This is a lot, so I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me to make this trip possible. I am looking forward to serving the Lord and my community in Puerto Rico. Anything helps, $25, $50 or $100 are some suggestions for giving or any amount that is significant to you. I ask that you join me and my peers in prayer that the Lord would provide for all the mission club’s needs.
