I met this wonderful woman, Lakira King on social media. She had just received a lift van for her beautiful daughter Zamarie. She was asking about quotes on a new paint job. I asked her if she'd ever thought about having it wrapped. This way she could even have it customized. I want to make this little dream happen for her and her beautiful family. Here is a bit of background story that Zamaries mother shared with me:
My full name is Lakira King i am a single mother of three one being my Princess Zamarie King, she was born July 22 2007 now age 13 , she was such a vibrant , talented little girl with such a beautiful heart , I never imagined of seeing this little girl healthy , turning flips, so smart, such an athlete at the age of 4 that on Memorial Day her life would change to her becoming total dependent now ,and in a wheelchair , it was that day i almost lost a part of me do to a fatal accident ,but God said different when he put life back into my daughter. They continued to work on her until they saw a pulse. They told me what she endured was an anoxic brain injury, and she was first in a coma, dependent on a breathing machine , but with in 2 weeks breathing on her own. It was just knowing it would be a long journey ahead for her, but all i could do was be thankful to be able to still lay eyes on her and hold her knowing it could've been different. My daughter is now 13 and will continue to grow. I'm total dependant when comes to lifting her and total care. I've been blessed to have my oldest by my side to help but he is now about to start his journey of going to college so all i could think was what am i going to do , I work fulltime,caring for my children , along with making sure my daughter gets to all therapies, and appointments them mostly being out of the muskogee area. I knew i had to do something so i started saving and put away what i could to go towards an accessible van for her ,with the help of some kind hearted people i was just able to purchase a 2005 Accessible Handicap Van for my Princess, its hard to find these vans reasonable so i couldnt pass up on this deal ,but with it being a older van and rusted in different areas the way it is im really just wanting to do something special for her with all shes been through and get it more of fixed up, painted specialized just for her.
